The open‑cell foam maximises cooling and reduces heat buildup. Its high heat resistance supports longer working times. Fine crosshatched cuts retain more polish and expand during use, increasing surface area and abrasion—similar to wool fibres—while maintaining the cooling and durability advantages of open‑cell foam. These cuts also help channel removed clearcoat away from the surface, improving finish quality and extending pad life.

A 90‑degree edge reduces pad roll.
